Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations for a large manufacturing facility in Lethbridge, Alberta. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, managing preventive maintenance programs, leading technical teams, and overseeing capital and reliability projects to support safe and efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and supervise maintenance teams including mechanics, millwrights, and electricians
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Manage maintenance budgets, including operating, capital, and reliability project budgets
- Lead and support capital projects from planning through execution
- Ensure equipment reliability, uptime, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Manage external contractors and service providers
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and production teams to support plant performance
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation is an asset
- Proven experience in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong background in preventive maintenance, capital projects, and reliability engineering
- Experience managing budgets and capital expenditures
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and lead skilled trades teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
