LTO Assignment: Grade 3 1.00 FTE

Ottawa Catholic School Board is seeking a Long Term Occasional teacher to provide coverage for a teacher on leave within the Ontario College of Teachers Education (OECTA) framework.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom instruction to Grade 3 students.


• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.


• Implement curriculum standards and assessment practices.


• Take on responsibilities of the cover position within the designated school.

Qualifications

• Good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.


• Successful completion of the Sexual Abuse Prevention Training through OCT.


• Prior teaching experience in a Catholic classroom preferred.

Salary Range

$51,234.00 to $119,943.00, per Article 32 of the OECTA Collective Agreement effective September 1, 2025.

• Non‑OCSB teachers must provide a negative PRC for the Vulnerable Sector dated within the last six months.
