Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service
Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods to various locations according to schedule
- Load and unload cargo
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Deliver appliances in a timely manner
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns professionally
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies throughout all operations
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with commercial driving and warehouse operations preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of cargo when necessary
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members and customers
- Excellent moving skills for loading/unloading cargo efficiently and safely
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
