Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Logistics / Yard Labourer to support daily yard and logistics operations. This role involves a combination of indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions and requires the ability to safely operate a diesel truck towing a 40 gooseneck trailer. The successful candidate will be hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable performing general labour duties as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a diesel truck towing a 40 gooseneck trailer
- Load, unload, secure, and transport materials and equipment
- Perform shipping, receiving, and handling of materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts
- Organize and maintain yard, warehouse, and storage areas
- Conduct general labour duties as required to support operations
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and company standards
- Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid drivers license with the ability to operate a diesel truck and tow a 40 gooseneck trailer
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills considered an asset
- Previous experience in logistics, yard work, or general labour is an asset
