Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic 
Logistics Operations & Strategy Manager
 to oversee and strengthen our fleet and freight brokerage network.

This role provides leadership across operational performance, carrier and customer network development, pricing strategy, compliance governance, and financial oversight. The focus is on building scalable processes, improving utilization and margin performance, and positioning the operation for long-term, disciplined expansion.

Key Responsibilities -Operational Leadership & Performance Oversight

• Provide strategic oversight of fleet and brokerage operations to ensure service reliability, efficiency, and profitability.
• Lead and develop a hybrid team (local and remote), establishing KPIs and driving accountability across service, utilization, and margin performance.
• Standardize operating procedures and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Deliver structured operational and financial reporting to executive leadership.

Fleet Strategy & Cost Optimization

• Oversee asset utilization, capacity planning, and route optimization strategies.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Drive fuel efficiency, cost-per-mile improvements, and disciplined cost control initiatives.

Carrier Network & Pricing Governance

• Strengthen and expand a reliable carrier network aligned with service and growth objectives.
• Oversee rate strategy and margin management to protect and improve profitability.
• Develop lane-level pricing frameworks and monitor performance trends.

Customer & Financial Stewardship

• Guide pricing discipline and profitability management by customer and lane.
• Oversee billing accuracy, cost controls, and margin protection processes.
• Serve as senior escalation point for key carrier and customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or freight brokerage.
• Experience overseeing both asset-based fleet and third-party brokerage operations.
• Strong knowledge of transportation compliance and regulatory standards.
• Demonstrated success in margin management and network development.
• Experience leading hybrid or multi-location teams.
• Strong analytical, financial, and strategic decision-making skills.
