Job Description
DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join the Capacity Management team based in Saint John, New Brunswick.
- Ongoing sourcing of new carriers for existing and new business;
- Build strong relationships with the carriers;
- Negotiate competitive rates with both carriers and customers;
- TMS Account Management activities
- Communicating with carriers and negotiations for needed equipment, service expectations, and rates;
- Identify areas for improvement and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience within the transportation/logistics industry required;
- Passionate about relationship building, customer service, and problem solving;
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced industry;
- Excellent proactive communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills;
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with an attention to detail;
- Energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to work within a team;
- Computer skills are essential (MS Office).
