About this Role:  The Logistics Coordinator contributes to the overall success of the company by monitoring the production process. They are responsible for maximizing workflow by managing the schedule, coordinating with the warehouse, keeping detailed records of the production line, estimating the time involved on a project, and closely monitoring the progress of each project. 

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving – check for accuracy of materials/costs for inbound shipments.
  • Follow-up with vendors for invoices. 
  • Invoicing customers / Matching packing slips.
  • Process credit notes.
  • Vendor Purchase order confirmations – check for accuracy qty/costs.
  • Maintain ETAs for incoming loads – tracking / booking inbound appointments.
  • LTL shipments preparing / Division Transfers / inbound shipments / Customs paperwork.
  • Maintain specific inventory.
  • Sample shipping.
  • Customer support for specific customers.
  • Enter and review rebates from vendors.
  • Perform other admin duties as requested by managers.
  • Maintain US Permits / Customs.
  • Special Inventory Adjustments
  • Other duties as assigned by management. 

Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline or equivalent experience is an asset. 
  • Experience in the lumber and panel industry is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners. 
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of confidentiality dealing with sensitive information .
