Locum Medical Oncologist

The Department of Medicine at Dalhousie University and Nova Scotia Health has an immediate opening for a locum Medical Oncologist in the Division of Medical Oncology at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, Nova Scotia. The planned duration of this position is for one year from the established date.
The Division of Medical Oncology is one of 15 divisions within the Department of Medicine and provides systemic oncology care for the majority of mainland Nova Scotia as well as serving as a regional center of subspecialized expertise. In addition to playing an important clinical role in the Department, division members have excellent opportunities for collaborative educational and research activities to facilitate rewarding and fulfilling career development.
Candidates must hold FRCPC (or equivalent) certification in Internal Medicine and subspecialty certification in Medical Oncology. Candidates must be eligible for specialty licensure in Nova Scotia.
An attractive remuneration package through an alternative funding plan will apply. Academic appointment ranking will be based on qualifications and experience.
