Job Description
The Queen’s Department of Family Medicine is seeking dedicated, enthusiastic locums tocover for year-round faculty to provide in-patient clinical coverage at the Division ofHospital Medicine based at Providence Care Hospital in beautiful and historic Kingston,Ontario. Locum opportunities include 0.5 to 1.0 FTE roles.
The Division of Hospital Medicine is a dynamic group of physicians committed todelivering quality care to patients admitted in complex medical, rehabilitation, andmental health programs of Providence Care Hospital, a sub-acute care hospital andSoutheastern Ontario’s leading provider of specialized care in aging, mental health, andrehabilitation.Offering a competitive remuneration package, clinical coverage hours are 8 a.m. to 5p.m., Monday to Friday, with no responsibilities after hours, on weekends, or statholidays.The successful applicant must be licensed to practise in Ontario on or before theappointment start day, with preference given to candidates who have valid certificationfrom the College of Family Physicians of Canada. As we are an academic division,responsibilities may include both patient care and resident supervision.
