Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installer to join our niche contracting company. The ideal candidate will be trained to installing a variety of waterproofing membranes including Urethane, PUMA and PMMA Systems according to project specifications. This role offers an opportunity to work with a team of installers and independently to complete projects to client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand engineer drawings to ensure accurate installation of materials and systems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform installations efficiently and safely.
- Prepare surfaces to a standard acceptable to receive membrane
- Install waterproofing membranes to decks, planters and parkades in residential or commercial settings.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout each project phase.
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with construction-related tasks related to membrane installation is an asset but more important is willingness to be taught this trade.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings is an asset but not required
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and construction equipment.
- Ability to be taught how to read technical instructions accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual tasks for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
