Newark Brewing is looking for a reliable, motivated Line Cook who thrives in a collaborative kitchen environment. Our team is small, fast-moving, and highly supportive — which means communication, accountability, and willingness to help each other are just as important as cooking skills. Experience is an asset but not mandatory. Training will be provided to candidates who are eager to learn and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Focusing on sourcing ingredients from local producers and creating dishes that complement the line-up of our craft beers. We strive to create a welcoming workplace with a focus on creativity, education, and passion. Pay is commensurate on experience. Gratuities included.
Duties and responsibilities:
Reports directly to Lead line cook
Basic and advanced knife skills (chopping, slicing, carving)
Use of kitchen equipment (ovens, deep fryers, range)
Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment
Washing dishes
Opening and closing kitchen
Preparing, storing, and executing designated dishes on the menu
Maintaining garbage and waste
-Sweeping and mopping
-Following health and safety protocols at all times
-Daily, weekly and monthly cleaning/maintenance tasks
Core Skills
- Must be punctual
- flexible to work evening, weekends and holidays as the need arises

Certifications
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Beamsville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
