Job Description
The Lifestyle Manager is responsible for creating, coordinating, and leading engaging recreational, social, and wellness programs that enhance the quality of life for residents. This role focuses on promoting physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual well-being by offering meaningful activities that support independence, dignity, and community connection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and implement a diverse calendar of recreational, social, cultural, and wellness programs tailored to residents’ interests, abilities, and needs.
- Lead group and individual activities such as fitness classes, arts and crafts, games, music programs, educational sessions, outings, and special events.
- Encourage resident participation and foster a welcoming, inclusive environment.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and volunteers to enhance engagement and satisfaction.
- Coordinate special celebrations, themed events, holiday programming, and community partnerships.
- Manage activity budgets, supplies, equipment, and resources effectively.
- Supervise and support activity staff and volunteers as applicable.
- Monitor participation, evaluate program effectiveness, and adapt activities to meet changing resident needs.
- Ensure all activities meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
