Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Optician, located in Ajax, ON. As a Licensed Optician, you will assist clients in selecting eyewear that meets their vision needs and style preferences, ensure glasses and contact lenses are fitted correctly, and perform adjustments and repairs when necessary. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with optometrists to interpret prescriptions and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and optical expertise.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of optics and optometry-related practices
Exceptional customer service and customer satisfaction skills
Experience with assisting eye exams and prescription interpretation
Attention to detail and ability to maintain precision when fitting and adjusting eyewear
Valid Licensed Optician certification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Prior experience in eye care or retail eyewear is an asset
