Legal Assistant – Emerging CompaniesA large law firm located in downtown Montreal is recruiting a Legal Assistant to support its Emerging and High-Growth Companies practice. This position is part of a structured environment with a clearly defined workload (supporting 2 partners), a stable pace, and a culture that values collaboration and respect. This is a permanent, full-time role with a well-established hybrid work model.

Responsibilities:
• Draft, revise, and format legal documents (agreements, procedures, correspondence, etc.).
• Manage calendars, calls, correspondence, and travel arrangements.
• Organize meetings, conferences, meals, rooms, and logistics.
• Transcribe content from notes, dictation, and voice messages.
• Compare documents using Workshare.
• Track conference registrations and manage reimbursements.
• Open, file, and archive client files.
• Use internal systems efficiently (OnePlace, MCDM, Intranet).
What you will need to succeed:
• Diploma in Legal Secretarial Studies or equivalent training.
• 7 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English, both written and spoken, to draft, revise, and transcribe documents, and to interact with clients and colleagues in Canada and internationally.
• Strong knowledge of technology tools (Outlook, OnePlace, Workshare).
• Accuracy, autonomy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a professional environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced but structured setting.
