Solution Architect Lead
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Solution Architect Lead to join a large financial consulting client in downtown Toronto (hybrid 3 days/week) on a 6 month contract to hire basis. In this role, you will be responsible for driving Solution Architecture best practices across the CIS teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction, and thought mentorship to a global team of Solution Architects. Your primary focus will be on enabling them to deliver solutions aligned with the technical strategy. You will manage resource allocation and technical development.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Solution Architecture best practices within the CIS teams.
- Provide strategic direction and mentorship to Solution Architects.
- Enable the team to deliver solutions aligned with the technical strategy.
- Manage resource allocation and technical development.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience as a senior solution architect.
- Hands-on experience in solutions design and oversight of multiple projects.
- Design solutions for business applications using Agile best practices.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, including conveying complex technical strategy to senior business and technology partners.
- In-depth knowledge of modern software architectures, including microservices, APIs, cloud computing, data insights, and modernization patterns.
- Proficiency in MEAN stack, Python, or other middleware technologies.
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud.
- Understanding of Secure By Design concepts and Secure DevOps.
Plusses:
- Exposure to Big Data, Data Lake, LakeHouse, and BI Tools.
- Knowledge of Multi Factor Authentication and Single Sign On (OAuth, SAML).
- Experience with Containerization and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) techniques.
- Comfort working with large language models.
- Familiarity with recognized document standards such as C4, UML, Archimate.
- Previous experience working for a large consulting company.
