This position involves mentoring engineers, defining architectural direction, and collaborating with stakeholders to align technology with business objectives.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Lead system design and architecture decisions to deliver robust and scalable solutions.</li><li>Mentor engineers to enhance technical skills and team performance.</li><li>Advocate and implement development standards and best practices for quality and security.</li><li>Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.</li><li>Foster cross-team collaboration and contribute to organization-wide technical strategies.</li><li>Evaluate and implement new technologies to accelerate development and innovation.</li><li>Provide technical expertise in strategic discussions to influence decision-making.</li><li>Support additional responsibilities as needed to achieve organizational objectives.<br></li></ul><b>Technical Requirements & Environment:</b><ul><li><b>Primary Languages & Frameworks:</b> .NET Core, Node.js, React, Angular, Python.</li><li><b>Frontend/Backend Expertise:</b> Hands-on experience with React, Angular, Node.js, .NET Core within a Linux ecosystem; containerization experience required.</li><li><b>Cloud Platform:</b> Azure (preferred).</li><li><b>Cloud Services & Certifications:</b> GitHub Enterprise (GHE-900), Azure Associate Certification.</li><li><b>Architectural Patterns:</b> Microservices, serverless, event-driven (for near real-time apps), and monolithic (legacy systems).</li><li><b>Design Patterns:</b> Domain-Driven Design (DDD).</li><li><b>CI/CD Tools:</b> Transitioning from Azure DevOps (ADO) to GitHub Enterprise.</li><li><b>Containerization & Orchestration:</b> Docker and Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).</li><li><b>Security & Compliance:</b> Knowledge of PCI/HIPAA is a nice-to-have.</li><li><b>Legacy & Modernization:</b> Role includes supporting legacy systems, modernization efforts, and new app development (approx. 50/50 split).</li><li><b>Balance of Responsibilities:</b> 80% hands-on development, 20% architectural leadership.<br></li></ul><b>Qualifications:</b><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.</li><li>6-8 years of experience in software development and technical leadership.</li><li>Proven ability to mentor engineers and drive technical excellence.</li><li>Strong expertise in system architecture, design patterns, and cloud technologies.</li><li>Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and modern development workflows.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical thinking, and ability to think outside the box for solutions.</li><li>Team player with strong collaboration skills and ability to influence technical direction.<br></li></ul><b>Major Initiatives for Next 12 Months:</b><ul><li>New application development.</li><li>Refactoring and retrofitting initiatives.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b> </b></p>Create Your Resume First
