Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef De Partie located in Halifax, NS. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for overseeing specific sections of the kitchen, preparing and presenting dishes, maintaining high culinary standards, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Daily tasks include meal preparation, ingredient management, quality control, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Culinary skills, including meal preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
Experience in managing kitchen sections and supervising kitchen staff
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene practices
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
Relevant culinary certifications or diploma
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
