Hours: 35 hours per week (1) one hour lunch; Mon – Fri (8:30 am – 4:30 pm) Â

Campus Location: Employment Services – Uxbridge site primarily (iterant
services provided at Port Perry, Beaverton, and Cannington sites)

 Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager,
Employment Programs, the incumbent is responsible for performing job
development, job matching/placement and job retention services through
Employment Ontario (EO) Employment Services program. This position is also
responsible for facilitating training grants/incentive programs. This position
further involves a particular focus on EO participants/clients who lack
marketability or credibility in the local labour market. The incumbent works as
part of the Community Employment Services team, which operates in a continuous
quality improvement environment. The position requires extensive travel to
various locations and may involve hours outside of standard business operation.
To deliver effective,
high-quality services, service providers must demonstrate evidence of service
quality, within their organization as well as in the Employment Service they
provide, and the outcomes their clients received.
The incumbent will work
within the program's service delivery model to capture activity including, but
not limited to: demographics, performance indicators, and market perceptions,
marketing results, client and employer outcomes, employer activity and internal
/ external referral effectiveness. The
incumbent must also adhere to the Customer Service Charter.
The incumbent is expected
to carry out assigned duties to support all components of service delivery by
working in collaboration with Data Administrators, Employment Specialists,
other Job Developers & ultimately the Manager, who has program
accountability for full service operations.
