If so, we are looking for you ANC currently has a Janitorial contract position available at its mill site operations for a 1‐year contract. The ideal candidate for the position is detail‐oriented, flexible and willing to take on both routine and non-routine cleaning, and special projects as needed. Some Janitorial responsibilities include: Perform general cleanup of all areas of the building as directed Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick‐up Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests Ensure supply rooms are maintained and fully equipped Complete non‐routine cleaning according to specified job orders Must have the physical capability to: sweep, mop, vacuum, steam clean, wax, stock shelves, lift up to 30 lbs. Working as part of the Janitorial team, this is a position that requires (and provides) flexibility in scheduling while meeting demands of the plant.

This position is predominantly an evening shift (from 3pm to 9pm) and requires weekend coverage on a scheduled rotation. There is potential for more hours on an as needed basis. Grade 12 diploma or equivalent and a valid class 5 driver’s license are required. The successful candidate must have their own transportation and be able to work in‐person at the ANC mill site.

Previous industrial janitorial experience is a definite asset.
