<h3>What you’ll do</h3>
<ul>
<li>The Program Manager is responsible for providing strategic and operational guidance and direction with a coordinated approach to the management and performance of the program.</li>
<li>Develop an overall understanding of each project in the program</li>
<li>Oversee and coordinate dependencies across projects within the program.</li>
<li>Support planning related to program, project and resources</li>
<li>Ensure projects adhere to governance standards, policies, and practices within the PMO</li>
<li>Liase with stakeholders ensuring communications and reporting for projects within the program</li>
<li>Work with project managers to oversee the project lifecycle for all projects within the program</li>
<li>Provide direction and strategies to projects to ensure projects are delivered on time, budget, and scope</li>
<li>Track and report project statuses and KPIs to ensure accountability to project deliverables and performance.</li>
<li>Engage in vendor evaluation, selection, and contract negotiations</li>
<li>Contribute to PMO processes continuous improvement</li>
</ul>
<h3>What you'll need</h3>
<h3>Mandatory Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Minimum of fifteen (15) + years of experience managing Information Technology projects</li>
<li>Valid PMP Certification or Prince2 Practitioner certification.</li>
<li>Extensive knowledge and experience with Portfolio, Program and Project Management methodologies</li>
<li>Experience with strategic planning</li>
<li>Experience leading and managing a project team within a provincial government setting</li>
<li>Understanding of provincial government processes, policies and procedures</li>
<li>Strong understanding of information technology, cyber security and its strategic application to business</li>
<li>Strong facilitation and negotiation skills</li>
<li>Strong analysis and problem resolution skills</li>
<li>Strong leadership, organization, and time management, and decision making skills</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal, listening, and conflict resolution skills</li>
<li>Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation</li>
</ul>
