Position: IT Business Analyst Location: Montreal Our client is a leader in Canada’s French-language book distribution market and is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join their team. Reporting to the Information Systems Director your mission will involve identifying user needs, defining processes, modeling and designing processes and solutions for development projects, while ensuring functional management of programmer-analysts within the scope of their duties.Some responsibilities include:- Lead and participate in weekly meetings to obtain updates on the progress – Coordinate and document developments with other team members to ensure proper integration between systems – Facilitate and gather information from users at meetings to clarify requirements acceptance and deployment of selected solutions – Evaluate, test and recommend new software enhancement opportunities, hardware and processes – Participate in the support and maintenance of the warehouse inventory management systems – Support and integrate interfaces between information systems – Participate in optimizing the warehouse management tools We are looking for someone with:- 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst – Business Analyst or IT Certificate – IIBA certification an asset – Proficiency in Office suite and Visio – Programming experience – Fluency in French is requiredPlease send your resume in Word format to Stephanie Scappaticcio at stephanie.scappaquantum.ca.
