Investment Analyst

Job Description

<p><h3>About the Opportunity</h3>
<ul>
<li>Supports investment finance team with month-end close process</li>
<li>Analyzes and provides performance return information (e.g. IRR, total return, etc)</li>
<li>Work with portfolio fund managers and provide any necessary analysis</li>
<li>Liaise with various cross functional teams and provide any support necessary for specific transactions (and ensure proper accounting treatment for financial reporting teams)</li>
<li>Assist with quarterly forecasts and provide variance analysis and put together decks for senior management</li>
<li>Assist with cash management and cash flow forecasting</li>
<li>Collaborate with investment accounting team on compiling monthly position reports</li>
</ul>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<h3>About You</h3>
<ul>
<li>University degree with an accounting designation preferred</li>
<li>2-3 years of experience and a CPA / CFA designation is preferred</li>
<li>Prior work experience in investment finance / asset management / fund reporting</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills and results oriented</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills to be able to present to senior management.</li>
