Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Associate to join our warehouse management team. This role involves overseeing inventory levels, analyzing data to optimize stock control, and supporting demand planning and procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis skills, and a solid understanding of supply chain operations, including warehouse distribution and order fulfillment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to process improvements and enhance overall materials management efficiency within a dynamic organization.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels using Red Tail Software
  • Collaborate with procurement teams on sourcing strategies, negotiation, and purchasing activities to ensure optimal stock levels
  • Coordinate with warehouse distribution centers and providers to ensure accurate order fulfillment and materials management
  • Support process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency in inventory handling, procurement, and overall supply chain operations
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of inventory movements, procurement activities, and merchandising data
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, retail management, or warehouse distribution roles
  • Strong analytics skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of demand planning, MRPs (Material Requirements Planning), procurement processes, and sourcing strategies
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
  • Excellent data visualization skills for presenting insights clearly to stakeholders
  • Ability to perform detailed data collection and analysis for process improvement initiatives
  • Strong negotiation skills related to purchasing and sourcing activities
  • Experience with e-commerce logistics, order fulfillment processes, and retail merchandising is a plus
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Project Management will be part of this job as well. Will include sending required information and paperwork for acquired jobs as well as following up with suppliers, sending progress notes on jobs and any other project management admin related tasks.

This role is integral to maintaining efficient inventory operations that support our company's growth objectives. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities combined with practical knowledge of supply chain systems. You will be required to source raw material and products needed to maintain daily operations of our business.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
