Internal Sales Executive Role - Peterborough
Job Description
We are a leading distributor of electrical automation products and are currently seeking an experienced Internal Sales Executive to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an expanding and specialised internal sales team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service as well as providing product advice, processing orders, and generating bespoke quotations.
Previous experience of working within the electrical control and automation sector is beneficial but not essential.
Job – Internal Technical Sales
- Manage customer enquiries via telephone and email within a timely manner.
- Source products and prices based on individual requirements from Suppliers.
- Accurately process quotations and sales orders using our bespoke software system.
- Keep Customer Relationship Management system up to date.
- Manage a set of accounts, including maintaining excellent customer relations and identifying any potential areas of sales growth.
- Support colleagues and the wider business.
Individual – Internal Sales Executive
- Previous experience working with Electrical Control and Automation products is beneficial.
- Experience having worked an Internal sales role previously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Communicate with external sales team.
- Organised individual, able to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Committed and hardworking attitude.
- Willing to learn and develop Product knowledge.
- Computer literate, working with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently.
- Be enthusiastic and have a great team ethic.
- Minimum of 23 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) increasing with length of service.
