Job Description
Reporting to the Maintenance Director, the Millwright is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining all plant equipment.
Job Responsibilities Include:
-Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components on machines.
-Provide regular and routine maintenance ensuring safety, quality, productivity standards.
-Install, maintain, inspect and repair a variety of manufacturing equipment.
-Complete assigned preventative maintenance tasks
-Work around hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
-Monitor day to day operations, prioritize work orders as needed and ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
-Keep neat and accurate records of all aspects of maintenance. Clearly document and communicate tasks including a description of the repair and any follow up required.
-Keeps safety as a top priority and works diligently to ensure all safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
Required Qualifications Include:
-General Mechanical Maintenance with a minimum of 3+ years of experience.
-Must work well independently as well as in a team environment.
-Able to carry out a variety of tasks with minimal direction.
-Communicate effectively with management and fellow employees regarding issues, projects and timelines.
-Ability to work a flexible work schedule. May be required to work nights, emergency call outs and weekends Overtime available.
-Ability to maintain a clean and safe workplace.
-Must be physically able to perform the duties of the role.
-Knowledge of maintaining, inspecting, and repairing hydraulic motors and valves
-Knowledge of maintaining conveyors, gear boxes and belting.
-Knowledge equipment tear down and reassembly.
-Have the technical knowledge to undertake any assignment with or without direct supervision is essential.
-Following food safety guidelines while performing maintenance on various machines.
