Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Provide guidance on policies, resolve workplace issues, and promote fair treatment.
- Compensation & Benefits: Administer payroll, track vacation, and manage benefits programs.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to Ontario labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Training & Development: Coordinate learning programs and maintain training records.
- Offboarding: Facilitate smooth employee exits and conduct exit interviews.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Source, screen, and interview candidates; manage new hire orientation and onboarding.
Successful candidates will have:
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in HR or related field
- CHRL designation is an asset
- 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience
- Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Experience in service-sector environments (non-manufacturing)
