ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Human Resources Director for a one year maternity leave replacement. Reporting to the VP Human Resources and Communications, the selected candidate will play a key role in managing and developing HR practices across the organization, working closely with managers and field teams.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- HR File Management - Ensure consistent application of HR policies, programs and practices; manage specific situations involving employees and supervisors.
- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition - Plan workforce needs; manage the full hiring process; deploy talent acquisition strategies.
- Performance Management and Compensation - Coordinate the performance management process (P&O) with managers; collaborate with the VP HR on compensation processes.
- Development of HR Policies and Practices - Develop and recommend new policies based on organizational needs; implement and promote policies across teams; remain attentive to both business and employee needs.
- Health, Safety and Benefits - Monitor accident, incident and disability files; ensure legal compliance regarding occupational health and safety.
- Employee Engagement and Social Initiatives - Propose and organize social activities; evaluate feasibility and participate in deployment; encourage employee participation and engagement.

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
- Autonomy, rigor and strong organizational skills
