Job Brief
Complete high-volume duties related to Human Resources across global operations, focusing on recruitment pipeline management and health & safety compliance support.
Key Responsibilities
- Placing ads, identifying candidates, setting up interviews, performing reference and background checks for US and Canadian requisitions; maintaining tracking data for accurate recruitment KPIs
- Maintain role descriptions and associated skill definitions for all departments
- Organizing H&S logs, filing incident reports (WSIB/OSHA), and maintaining the Global Safety Training matrix for SME sign-off.
- May assist with payroll inquiries
- Reconcile monthly benefits and associated weekly premiums in payroll system
- Set up new hires and coordinate onboarding tasks and schedules with management
- Onboarding facilitation, including training for new hires
- Enter statutory holidays into timekeeping system
- Create payroll reports as required
- Maintain and update Employee Handbook
- All other duties as required
Qualifications
- Discretion and confidentiality
- Strong Interpersonal skills with the ability to manage competing requests from multiple managers.
- Strong administrative skills, ability to manage and maintain data
- Knowledge of computers and relevant HRIS software application(s)
- Analytical and problem solving abilities, ability to exercise good judgment
- Ability to work independently but provide support to the team as and when requested
Academic and Trades Qualifications
- High school diploma or two years of equivalent work experience.
- Interest in attaining academic qualifications (where requested by Management).
