We’re Looking For:

We are seeking an HR Business Partner who will assist with the maintenance and delivery of HR related programs and services at our Brampton location. This position is permanent full-time (in office) : Monday – Friday 40 hours per week.



Responsibilities

  • Provide consultative services to the management team and employees in the areas of human resources (benefits, employee relations, health and safety, training, recruitment and compensation) by responding to inquires in accordance with ADESA’s values.
  • Ensure employees and managers follow proper company policies, procedures and payroll reporting requirements.
  • Responsible for coordinating the internal and external recruitment process by creating job postings, screening resumes and conducting interviews.
  • Responsible for benefit administration to ensure all additions and changes are kept current, and respond to employee inquires.
  • Facilitate and participate in the Joint Health and Safety process by conducting inspections, attending meetings, accident investigation, completing all WSIB correspondence and attend ongoing Health and Safety training.
  • Responsible for conducting new employee orientation and coordinating ACE training program for all employees.

Educational/Experience Requirements

  • Post-Secondary degree/diploma in a HR-related discipline or equivalent of a minimum 3 years related experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, and HRIS/Payroll reporting systems (Workday).
  • Must be detailed oriented, with ability to prioritize for deadline completions and able to handle fast paced environment.
  • A high degree of ethics and integrity are essential.
