View Dental is a growing, modern dental organization with clinics in downtown Toronto and California. We are committed to building a professional, people-first workplace that supports accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across our teams.
We are seeking a confident and capable HR Generalist to support employees across the full employee lifecycle and partner closely with leadership. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who already has solid hands-on experience, strong judgment, and the confidence to navigate complex employee situations with professionalism and discretion.
The HR Generalist will support employee relations by acting as a first point of contact for HR-related concerns, addressing issues with fairness, confidentiality, and sound judgment. The role involves supporting conflict resolution, performance management processes, and workplace investigations as needed, while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
This position will support full-cycle recruitment for clinical and non-clinical roles, including drafting job postings, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and assisting with hiring decisions. The HR Generalist will work closely with managers to understand staffing needs and support workforce planning.
The role includes managing onboarding and offboarding processes from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and compliant experience for employees. Responsibilities include coordinating documentation, orientations, training schedules, system access, exit documentation, and knowledge transfer.
The HR Generalist will also support health and safety initiatives, including training coordination and compliance requirements, and assist with training and development programs that promote employee engagement and professional growth.
Additional responsibilities include supporting the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures, maintaining accurate employee records, supporting HR reporting, and contributing to continuous process improvement. The role will also assist with organizational development initiatives that strengthen workplace culture, communication, and team effectiveness.
The ideal candidate holds a CHRP designation and has 12 years of hands-on HR Generalist or HR Coordinator experience. A solid understanding of Ontario employment standards and HR best practices is required. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, a confident and resilient personality, and the ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with comfort working on-site and collaborating across locations.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, gain exposure to organizational development and cross-border operations, and grow within a professional and evolving organization.
