Hiring: Skilled Labourers & General Labourers – Fence & Deck Company (Durham Region) Start Date: April 1 – 2026 Season
We are a fast-growing, reputable fence and deck company proudly servicing the Durham Region. With the new season kicking off April 1, we are hiring multiple full-time team members to join our crew for a busy and exciting construction season.

Position 1: Skilled Labourer (3+ Years Experience Required)
Responsibilities:
Constructing wood, composite and PVC decks
Installing wood, ornamental, and chain-link fencing
Reading and interpreting basic plans and layout measurements
Operating power tools and equipment safely
Setting posts (manual and machine auger experience an asset)
Assisting with framing, finishing, and trim work
Leading or assisting junior crew members when required
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years experience in fencing, decking, or general carpentry
Strong understanding of construction practices and job site safety
Comfortable using saws, drills, levels, augers, etc.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
Valid driver's license (preferred)
Reliable transportation to job sites within Durham Region
Strong work ethic and positive attitudeCompensation:

Position 2: General Labourer (No Experience Required)
Looking to get into the trades? We're willing to train the right people.
Responsibilities:
Assisting skilled crew members on fence and deck builds
Carrying materials and preparing job sites
Mixing concrete and setting posts
Cleanup and maintaining organized job sites
Learning safe and proper use of tools
Requirements:
Strong work ethic
Punctual and dependable
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in various weather
Willingness to learn and take direction
Reliable transportation to job sites in Durham Region
