Heavy Duty Equipment Technician.

Territory
: British Columbia, Alberta, Yukon, Northwest Territories.

Position Type:
Full-Time. 8-hour shift minimum with overtime opportunities.

Role:

  • We are seeking a Red Seal certified mechanic with experience in repairing, servicing and diagnosing Foundation and/or Rock Drilling equipment.
  • Experience with major brands such as Sandvik, CAT, John Deere, Comacchio, ABI, Bauer, and Klemm considered an asset.
  • Ability to lift and manage 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Preference will be given to applicants who have a minimal 3-5-year experience.
  • Willing to travel and be away from home occasionally.
  • Willing to work in the field and in remote locations.

Requirements:

  • Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Certification.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Experience with blast hole and production drilling is an asset.
  • Valid Driver's Licence.
  • Must be available to travel for out-of-town field calls.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and technical skills.
  • Demonstrates commitment to safe work practices & conducts business on behalf of Traxxon in a professional manner.
  • First-Aid, Forklift, and other certifications considered an asset.
  • Welding ticket/experience considered an asset.
  • Experience working on heavy construction equipment with an emphasis in electronics, CAN-bus wiring, hydraulics, powertrains, is desired.
