Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding top talent across various departments. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and experience with HRIS systems and applicant tracking tools. The Staffing Coordinator will collaborate closely with hiring managers to fulfill staffing needs efficiently while maintaining a positive candidate experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR technology platforms such as Workday, Lever, iCIMS, and Salesforce.
Duties
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing candidates through HR sourcing strategies and cold calling potential applicants.
- Conduct interviews and coordinate candidate assessments to evaluate skills and cultural fit.
- Utilize ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) such as Lever, iCIMS, or Workday to track applicant progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Engage in research to identify new talent pools and innovative sourcing channels.
- Lead candidate communication efforts, providing timely updates and feedback throughout the hiring process.
- Assist with onboarding activities, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires into the organization.
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies related to recruitment and employee relations.
- Support training & development initiatives related to talent acquisition best practices.
Experience
- Proven experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources preferred.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday, UltiPro, ADP, Kronos, or PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of ATS systems including Lever, iCIMS, or Salesforce for managing recruitment pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation and communication skills essential for engaging candidates and stakeholders effectively.
- Experience with HR sourcing techniques, research methods for talent lead generation, and cold calling is advantageous.
- Prior exposure to employee relations and training & development initiatives is a plus.
