At Home Instead, taking care of seniors is personal to us - you will care for the health and well-being of seniors who need help with daily tasks and activities. Seniors may need help because of an injury, mobility or memory issues, illnesses, or chronic conditions making everyday chores more challenging.Â
Care Giver Responsibilities:Â
- Personal care (grooming, toileting, bathing, and dressing)
- Planning and preparing meals
- Medication reminders and assistanceÂ
- Errands such as grocery shopping and doctor's appointments
- Dementia Care
- Planning activities and helping clients remain socially engagedÂ

- Paid training by experienced trainers (training is required regardless of experience)
- Ongoing, 24/7 support from the Home Instead team

Care Giver Requirements - please do not apply if you do not meet these requirements:Â
- Must have a dedicated vehicle and a valid Class 5 driver's license
- Must live in Calgary, Alberta or surrounding areas
- Great written and verbal communication skills, in English
- Consistent, non-flexible availability
- Clear criminal background checkÂ
