Key Responsibilities:

  • Health, Safety & Environment: Uphold and enhance safety standards in engineering projects, integrating safety policies throughout.
  • Leadership: Motivate and steer the engineering team towards excellence, aligning with our company’s culture and strategic goals.
  • Project Engineering: Develop innovative technical solutions, fostering interdepartmental collaboration to deliver value and progress.
  • Procurement: Play a pivotal role in global supplier selection and devise effective sourcing strategies for Capex projects.


Job Dimensions:

  • Lead projects with budgets over $10 Million USD, managing a portfolio surpassing $100 Million in North America.
  • Work within a diverse, multicultural team across various locations.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering. Additional business or project management qualifications beneficial.
  • Experience: Solid experience in industrial plant design and engineering, with a preference for backgrounds in the cement industry.
  • Skills: Expertise in engineering design, process calculations, and industry-specific equipment.
  • Behavioral Competencies: Demonstrated leadership, ethical commitment, teamwork, innovation, communication, and conflict resolution.
  • Managerial Abilities: Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, strategic thinking, and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Language Skills: Excellent English proficiency.

Physical Work Demands:


  • Regular office duties with occasional site visits.

Work Environment:

  • Dynamic and collaborative, with a blend of office and field environments.

Mobility Requirements:

  • Approximately 20-30% travel across the USA and Canada.
