Location: Swartz Bay Terminal
Pay Rate: $20.60
Responsibilities
· Ensure the safety and security of ferry terminal and onboard vessels
· Act as a visible security presence and deterrent to support a safe environment
· Engage with the public to provide assistance, direction, and exceptional customer service
· Perform security procedures including unlock/lock-up checks and routine inspections
· Operate communication tools such as radios and escalate incidents as necessary
· Identify, report, and help mitigate safety hazards
· Support passenger safety and satisfaction during coast-to-coast travel
Requirements
- Valid BC Security License
- Excellent customer service and communication
- Must be comfortable working 8 hour shifts
- Drivers license and a reliable personal vehicle
- Comfortable with radio communication
- Ability to write reports on job-related activities
- Comfort working independently and in varying weather conditions
- Punctuality and reliability
