Role: Guidewire Claims Center Developer
Location: Remote Canada
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Job Description
– Design, develop, and maintain customizations and configurations for Guidewire ClaimsCenter applications.
– Work with business analysts to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical designs.
– Implement integrations with external systems and services to enhance the claims processing capabilities.
– Conduct thorough testing of developed functionalities to ensure quality and reliability.
– Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices in software development.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the development lifecycle, providing technical guidance and support.
– Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Guidewire ClaimsCenter applications.
– Stay updated with the latest Guidewire releases and technologies, recommending upgrades and enhancements to optimize the claims management process.
– Document technical specifications, project activities, and processes for future reference and compliance.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
– Proven experience as a Guidewire ClaimsCenter developer, with a strong understanding of claims management processes and workflows.
– Proficient in programming, Guidewire Configuration and Integration, and Web Services.
– Experience with Guidewire ClaimsCenter versions 8.x or newer is highly preferred.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
– Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in a Scrum-based development environment.
