Job Description

Job Title: GSOC - Operator- Bilingual

Location: New Brunswick (Remote Position)

Department: Global Security Operations Centre

Reports To: GSOC Team Lead and GSOC Operations Manager

Pay Rate: $ 24.00 per hour with eligibility for incremental increases

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: 0900hrs-2100hrs (84 Hours Biweekly) - Continental - 6 week rotation (remote work)

A home office is required for this position as the role involves remote work. The successful candidate must be fluent in both French and English, both verbally and in writing. ***

Overview

Previous experience in Physical Security is not needed to apply to this position. We're looking for a diverse group of people to join the team as Global Security Operations Centre Operators. The ideal candidate should have an eye for detail, be self-motivated, and be an effective communicator, capable of working in a fast-paced team environment. The Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) is the 24/7 intake and triage for physical security occurrences at the client site.

Key Responsibilities

These responsibilities must be performed in both English and French.

Oversee, delegate, and evaluate tasks performed by fellow operators, including duties such as data entry, documentation, telephone and communication system operations, electronic record management, report formatting, and other administrative or office-related responsibilities.
Organize work routines and coordinate operations with other departments or teams.
Identify and address operational issues, while compiling and submitting routine updates and incident reports.
Train operators in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
Maintain the efficient functioning of operational equipment and coordinate necessary servicing or repairs as required.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal team members, adjacent teams, and external partners
Strong leader who owns their work and has an eye for continuous improvement
Remote monitoring and triage of physical security occurrences, including vandalism, vagrancy, and intrusion alarms
Being adaptable in the face of changing business needs.
May perform the same duties as workers supervised.

Qualifications

Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
Bilingual (French/English) is a must-have.
