Company supplied transportation. Training and instruction in basic daily equipment maintenance of handheld tools, power tools, chippers, aerial lifts, other assigned equipment, and reporting deficiencies for repair._Requirements_ MUST have 1 years’ experience in the utility vegetation management field preferably related to transmission line clearing and widening. Post secondary education as a Forestry Technician/ Technologist. Experience in operational planning with a solid understanding of crew and equipment utilization.
Good oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills with various individuals is essential. Good working knowledge of computers and proficient using all aspects of Microsoft Office. Experience using ESRI mapping products such as Field Maps and GPS units would be an asset. Valid Standard First Aid, CPR, WHMIS, Fall Arrest, and Electrical Awareness training.
Chainsaw Safety, Bucking, and Felling near Powerlines or equivalent training would be an asset. Valid Class 5 driver’s licence as a minimum.
