Food prep/cashier
Job Description
Monday to Friday 9:30-1:30pm
Candidate will be expected to help the team assemble salads, sandwiches, and other items needed for the busy lunch period. This is in a local secondary school. Candidate must be comfortable dealing with young adults and in a fast paced kitchen.
A food handlers certificate would be beneficial if they have . Obtaining a clear police check is however mandatory for employment and can be obtained online .
Candidates will be required to help the team prepare a variety of hot and cold menu items.
A menu will be provided and expected to be followed.
Suitable candidates will be provided with paid training. Some dishwashing is required as well as keeping the area clean and tidy at all times. Must be comfortable in a fast paced setting serving students. Assist their associates in receiving and storing food deliveries as needed.
Must be reliable, respectful and a team player. Any cashier experience would be beneficial.
Training will be provided.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
