National Bank Financial Markets is recruiting for Fall internship Analyst positions within our Corporate Banking, Investment Banking and Sustainable Finance teams located in our offices in Calgary, Montreal and Toronto.


OUR PROGRAM:

Our internship program offers dynamic hands-on exposure working alongside seasoned professionals and assisting members of the team in executing their responsibilities.

Responsibilities may include industry and company research utilizing financial modeling and valuation techniques, credit risk analysis, preparing client pitches and assisting in deal execution. As a fall program participant, you will have the opportunity to put your learnings into action and applying it in real time situations.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Undergraduate or Master’s program student, graduating at the earliest in Spring 2026 and legally eligible to work in Canada;
  • Capital markets and financial industry enthusiast;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented, organized, proactive and intellectual curiosity;
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills with the specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely;
  • Strong analytical skills and good understanding of basic accounting rules/concepts;
  • Aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative solutions;
  • Awesome PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills for modelling, valuations, etc.;
  • Capacity to manage projects independently and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of the team;
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines;
  • Outstanding ethics, integrity and judgement;
  • Ability to comfortably interact with clients in professional and mature manner;
  • Bilingualism is an asset (French and English is required for Montreal internships).
