GFL Environmental’ s skilled team members can handle all industrial cleaning and maintenance tasks ranging from the routine to the complex. We have a full complement of Vacuum Truck & Hydro Vacuum Trucks, water-jet, and pressure-wash trucks to clean equipment, buildings, underground pipelines and storage tanks. Our experienced personnel have the right equipment to access confined spaces and work in hazardous environments to get the job done safely and efficiently.The Industrial Services Supervisor will oversee daily Industrial operations. To ensure all employees are performing to the company policies and procedures and the appropriate laws that govern them.
Oversee and provide leadership to all employees with the ability to communicate with them daily. Develop and review projects and daily jobs to company standards. Maintain all documentation, such as daily reports, Health and Safety, and scheduling requirements as needed.Key Responsibilities:Manage and attend all Health and Safety meetings and train employees on any safety issues.Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established policies.Assist Dispatching crews for various projects and demands.Perform driver check-ins at day’s end to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion.Distribute, collect, and review all daily reports for proper days end data entry.Ensure coordination with other departments, clarifying roles and responsibilities for resolving service issues.Interacts with customers, customer service department, sales, & Operations staff.Fields incoming calls / emails from customers.Manage customer complaints and concerns.Oversee that all employees are adhering to company policies and procedure.Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:Vacuum Truck & Hydro Vacuum Truck knowledge.Confined Space & Rescue knowledge.Minimum 2 years in a supervisor role.Experience in operating waste vehicles.Experience in operating water pressure pumps.Strong knowledge of Highway traffic act and OH & S Act.WHIMIS training.Experience using MS Word, Excel.GFLTalentWe thank you for your interest.
