Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Cambridge Ontario area, for a Field Sales Engineer. The Field Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting and selling Walter's wide range of precision tools, managing customer accounts, and identifying new business opportunities. Daily tasks include maintaining strong customer relationships, providing technical support for machining and engineering solutions, and meeting sales targets through effective sales management. Collaboration with technical and sales teams to solve customer-specific challenges will also be a core part of the role.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Sales Engineering and Sales, with the ability to meet and exceed targets
- Proficiency in Account Management and Sales Management, including maintaining strong client relationships
- Solid knowledge and background in machining processes or related technical fields
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment and solve customer challenges effectively
- Experience in the machining or manufacturing industry is an asset
