About the role:
Apave Canada is seeking a dedicated Field Safety Officer to join our Regina branch.
Reporting to the Canadian Safety Officer, the Field Safety Officer plays a key role in strengthening Apave Canadas safety culture. This position is responsible for conducting field inspections, engaging with workers and supervisors, and completing thorough audits of safety records and practices. Through these activities, the Field Safety Officer ensures full compliance with applicable legislative and regulatory requirements, as well as adherence to Apave Canadas internal safety policies, procedures, and standards.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detailoriented, and committed to promoting safe work practices across all field operations.
Travel throughout Saskatchewan will be required as operational needs arise.

Requirements Skills and Experience:
Minimum 5 years as a safety professional in the oil & gas industry (refinery/upgrader experience preferred)
Current and valid NCSO.
Experience conducting field inspections and COR audits.
Experience conducting incident investigations.
Rope access experience would be considered an asset.
Current safety certifications:
First Aid, WHMIS, CSE, CSTS, H2S, Fall Protection.
Safety Requirements:
- Steel-toe boots are required; Apave Canada will provide additional PPE.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Great Health benefits package will be provided after a3-month probationary period.
Legal entitlement to work in Canada is mandatory.
All potential employees will be required to complete an alcohol and drug screening.
