Education
No degree, certificate or diploma required.
Experience (Required)
3 years to less than 5 years, experience working in this field.
Work Environment
- Organic farming; dangerous, dusty, hot, noisy, outdoors, horticultural field crop.
- Rural area.
Responsibilities
- Cut agricultural crops.
- Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non‑marketable lots.
- Organize tasks to accomplish the work.
- Oversee the process of hoeing and weeding crops.
- Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting.
- Co‑ordinate and supervise general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
- Ensure farm safety and bio‑security procedures are followed.
- Supervise and oversee growing and other crop‑related operations.
- Maintain work records and logs.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- Perform general farm duties.
