_Extended Detection and Response (XDR)_ Support Specialist

Shift timing: Full-time; Permanent. (Urgent Requirement)



Pay Rate: $100,000.00-$110,000.00 per year.

Location: Toronto, ON


One of our clients is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join their team as an Extended Detection and Response (XDR) Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients in implementing, configuring, and maintaining XDR solutions. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the effective deployment and operation of XDR platforms to enhance our clients’ cybersecurity posture.

Job responsibilities:

· Assist clients in the deployment and configuration of XDR solutions according to their specific requirements and environments.

· Provide technical support to clients in troubleshooting issues related to XDR platforms, including but not limited to alert triaging, incident investigation, and resolution.


· Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients to educate them on the features, functionality, and best practices related to XDR solutions.

· Maintain accurate documentation of XDR implementations, configurations, support tickets, and resolutions for reference and knowledge sharing purposes.

· Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and product development, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of XDR solutions with client requirements and organizational objectives.

Job requirements:


· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

· Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies, with specific knowledge of Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solutions.

· Experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting cybersecurity solutions, preferably XDR platforms, in enterprise environments.

· Proficiency in using and troubleshooting security tools and technologies, such as endpoint detection and response (EDR), network detection and response (NDR), SIEM, etc.


· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders.



· Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified XDR Professional (CXDRP), etc.) are a plus.
