Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are properly cleaned and sanitized. The ideal candidate will support the overall flow of the restaurant or hospitality operation by providing clean equipment for food preparation and service, contributing to a smooth and enjoyable guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand.
- Ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including counters, sinks, and surrounding floors.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and restocking items.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure proper food handling and sanitation standards are met.
- Support kitchen staff with additional duties such as taking out trash or cleaning kitchen surfaces when required.
- Adhere to restaurant or hotel policies regarding cleanliness and hygiene practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
- Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures related to food service is a plus.
- Hospitality experience or background in food preparation and cooking is advantageous but not mandatory. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing excellent service while developing valuable skills in the hospitality industry.

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
