Job Description
Us
Informanix is a leading provider of technology consulting and managed services to a variety of client organizations. We've been growing considerably since our founding in 2013. We think the future of the IT industry is bright with significant opportunities ahead for our members.
What we're building
Informanix is leading the way in progressive technology deployments and business process improvements, helping our clients grow their own businesses and become more efficient while reducing their own level of risk.
How you'll help
You'll be a key player on the front lines of our client services organization. You'll become a trusted member of our staff and a trusted resource to our Executive team. The quality of service you provide will have a direct impact on the success of Informanix and the success of our client organizations.
The Role
Informanix is looking for an Executive Assistant who doesn't just keep up — but stays ahead in a high‑stakes, high‑velocity environment where priorities shift by the hour and operational demands never slow down.
You will support two of the most critical and relentlessly busy technical leaders in the company:
- The CTO
- The Director of Infrastructure & Security
This is a role for someone who is unflinching under pressure, thrives in controlled chaos, and operates with absolute precision when timelines are tight and stakes are high.
If you're the kind of person who gets energized — not overwhelmed — when the workload intensifies, you'll excel here.
What You'll Do
Relentless Executive Support
- Manage calendars filled with back‑to‑back, high‑impact meetings — and adjust them on the fly without hesitation.
- Anticipate needs before they're spoken; prepare leaders for critical decisions with zero margin for oversight.
- Coordinate rapid‑fire scheduling across clients, internal teams, and vendors, often with conflicting priorities and urgent timeframes.
Operational Backbone
- Keep the CTO and Infrastructure/Security functions aligned even as pressure accelerates and initiatives multiply.
- Track tasks, risks, commitments, escalations, and follow‑ups across multiple concurrent priorities.
- Serve as the stabilizing force when the pace spikes — because it will.
Communication Under Pressure
- Draft concise, executive‑grade communications under tight deadlines.
- Maintain, organize, and safeguard confidential information in high‑demand situations.
- Distill complex, shifting inputs into organized briefings.
High‑Intensity Workflow Management
- Operate with urgency, ownership, and impeccable attention to detail.
- Handle sudden changes, unexpected demands, and mission‑critical interruptions without losing momentum.
- Navigate ambiguity, overlapping deadlines, and evolving requirements — and still execute flawlessly.
Required Skills
- 3–5+ years supporting senior executives in a fast‑paced environment (tech or operations preferred).
- A bias toward action and the ability to sprint when needed — calmly and professionally.
- Exceptional organizational mastery and the instinct to prioritize what truly matters.
- The ability to juggle multiple crises, deadlines, and requests simultaneously without dropping the details.
- Emotional resilience, sharp judgment, and the capacity to remain composed when pressure peaks.
- Discretion, trustworthiness, and an unwavering respect for confidentiality.
- Tech‑aware mindset — no specific tools required, but must be comfortable around technical leadership.
Education
- Post-Secondary education would be considered an asset
