Erosion Control Central is looking for an experienced Equipment Operator to join our growing residential construction team in Edmonton. This role is focused on final grading and loaming for new home construction and will transition into snow removal operations during winter months.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate a full-size skid steer for residential grading and loaming
- Fine grading for new home lots
- Operate Bobcat mini skid steer (463 / S70) (strong asset)
- Mark and check grades accurately
- Direct truck traffic and coordinate material placement
- Work safely and efficiently on active residential construction sites
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience operating skid steers in residential construction
- Proven experience with grading and loaming
- Comfortable marking grades and directing trucks
- Solid understanding of site safety and job sequencing
Assets (Nice to Have)
- Experience leading/training other operators
- Experience on Bobcat 463 or S70 mini skid steer
- Snow removal equipment experience
Compensation & Schedule
- $30–$37/hour, depending on experience
- Full-time, year-round employment
