Duties
The Engagement Lead plays a key role in supporting Build Canada Homes’ (BCH) engagement with partners and stakeholders across the housing sector. This position develops and maintains collaborative relationships to promote understanding of BCH’s mandate, investment principles, and engagement opportunities.Acting as a trusted liaison, the Engagement Lead facilitates dialogue with stakeholders, provides guidance on BCH processes, and supports partners in aligning project ideas and initiatives with organizational priorities. The role helps identify engagement opportunities, gathers stakeholder insights, and contributes to strengthening partnerships that advance affordable housing outcomes.The Engagement Lead also supports the planning and delivery of outreach and engagement activities, including stakeholder meetings, consultations, and information sessions, ensuring BCH’s engagement efforts are coordinated, responsive, and aligned with organizational objectives. ▶ Who we are looking for BCH is seeking a strategic and collaborative professional with experience in stakeholder engagement, partnership development, or program delivery within complex organizational or multi-sector environments. Intent of the process
This process will be used to staff one (1) position on a permanent or temporary basis, with a bilingual imperative CBC/CBC linguistic profile and a Secret security requirement. The position is based in Toronto, Ontario, and travel may be required to support stakeholder engagement and organizational priorities.

EXPERIENCEEX1: Experience leading the development and maintenance of strategic relationships with diverse stakeholders across sectors, including non-profit/community organizations, non-profit housing providers, non-profit builders and financiers, municipal governments, and Indigenous communities. EX2: Experience leading the coordination of *complex, multi-stakeholder engagement and governance activities. EX3: Experience managing *complex or sensitive stakeholder issues across multi-sector environments. EX4: Experience providing functional leadership on engagement or partnership initiatives that foster collaboration to advance organizational objectives. Definition *Complex is defined as involving at least two (2) of the following characteristics: multidimensional, sensitive, risk tolerance, involving and affecting many partners and stakeholders, precedent setting, having a major impact.
